When knitting a wrapped
stitch, insert right-hand needle
through wrap and through the
stitch it wraps, then knit wrap
and stitch tog.
Next row: Knit across all 16 sts,
knitting each wrap and st tog.
Next row: SI 1, purl to end.**

Cast off.
i-cord trim (make 2)
Using two 6mm double-pointed
needles and C double, cast
on 3 sts.
1 st row: Knit, do not turn.
Slip sts to other end of needle.
Pull yarn firmly across back of
work and rep 1 st row, working

until cord is length required to
fit evenly around end of bolster.
Break off yarn and thread end
through sts, draw up tightly and
fasten off securely.
Rep for other end of bolster.

TO MAKE UP
Sew
cast-on
and
cast-off
edges of Main Piece together.
Sew bolster Ends in position,
adding insert before completing
seams. Sew i-cord around each
bolster end (see pic, page
56). Attach buttons to centre
of bolster ends, as for Round
Cushion Cover.

Fold work in half lengthways
and join side seams. Using

yarn double, cast on 114 sts.
Join to work in rounds, taking
care not to twist cast-on edge.
1st rnd: *K1, P1, rep from *
to end.
Last round forms rib.
Cont in rib until work measures
24cm from beg.
Cast off loosely in rib.
TO MAKE UP
Sew in ends. Thread elastic
through first and last rounds, on
inside. Put cover on lampshade
and draw up elastic to secure.
